What you'll do

 

  • Accurately assign patients to provider teams and ensure timely, precise communication of patient information between providers and hospital staff.
  • Track, maintain, and report on department metrics, including daily census, staffing, and locum provider hours, to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support including scheduling, meeting preparation, correspondence, and coordination of annual provider reviews.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to evaluate and improve workflows, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in provider patient lists and departmental processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts by developing standard work, applying lean tools, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance operations and reduce waste.
  • Maintain confidentiality, adhere to organizational policies, and foster a positive, supportive work environment.

 

Required qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years experience in administrative support.

Additional Information

  • 2 years experience in a medical setting preferred.
  • Ability to compute basic statistical data and manage relational databases preferred.
