Job Responsibilities:

• Efficiently, appropriately, and competently decontaminate, disinfect, inspect, package, sterilize, store, and distribute equipment used in the surgical field in accord with applicable manufacturer's recommendation, Surgical Service Department Policy, and applicable federal and state law.
• Having a willingness to work flexible hours, which may include call hours outside normal business hours.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a sterile processing course, or equivalent education/experience.
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.
• Experience using personal computer and basic software programs.
• Basic Life Support certification, preferred.
