Your role with us
Come join our dynamic and collaborative acute care therapy team at Salem Health, where you’ll make a meaningful impact in the lives of our most vulnerable patients. As an occupational therapist or certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA) in our Acute Rehabilitation team, you will be evaluating and treating patients in a wide variety of specialty areas such as neuro-trauma, orthopedics, neurology, medical/surgical, intensive care and so much more. Be part of our Centers of Excellence, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients undergoing joint replacement surgery, spine surgery and stroke recovery.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct evidence-based evaluations and treating patients in a wide variety of specialty areas such as neuro-trauma, orthopedics, neurology, medical/surgical, intensive care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, speech therapists, and care managers.
  • Deliver exceptional patient and family-centered care with a strong emphasis on communication and customer service.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively within the team and across departments.

Required qualifications

  • Holds a valid license to practice in the state of Oregon or is license eligible.

Additional information

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire required.
  • Successful candidate will have clinical experience in the practice setting.
