Event Description:
Stayton Public Library presents a presentation from Palestinian student Reem Jubran on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 7:00 pm in the E. G. Siegmund Meeting Room. There will be a reception accompanying the event. Reem Jubran is an AFS exchange student from Palestine. She won a scholarship to not only study here in America but to share about her homeland and culture. She wants to show us her daily life, her foods and customs, the dances and celebrations. She hopes to study medicine here and become a doctor. The Stayton Public Library?s speaking events for 2015-2016 are funded by the Stayton Friends of the Library. The Stayton Friends of the Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds in support of Stayton Public Library programs
