Stayton Sublimity Chamber of Commerce is hiring a Director of Membership & Business Engagement. This is a highly visible, people-centered position for someone who thrives on connection, conversation, and community impact.
If you’ve succeeded in sales, account management, business development, or client relationships, this role gives you the freedom to do what you do best: build trust, open doors and create value while helping local businesses in Stayton, Sublimity, Aumsville and the surrounding areas.
What You’ll Be Known For:

• Growing Chamber of Commerce membership through authentic, one-on-one outreach.
• Being a trusted connector between businesses, community leaders, and partners.
• Identifying sponsorship and partnership opportunities which benefit members and the organization.
• Promoting member success stories through marketing and events.
• Creating welcoming, high-energy experiences at Chamber events.

• Enjoy meeting new people and building long-term, trust-based relationships.
• Are comfortable using Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and social media platforms to stay organized and connected.
• Are self-motivated and thrive with autonomy and a flexible schedule.
• Are motivated by making a visible, positive impact on the local business community.

• Part-time, flexible schedule (average 20 hours/week).
• $25–$30/hour plus commission.
• PTO, sick time, mileage reimbursement.
• Potential for growth into a full-time leadership role.
