Homeschool Month at The Oregon Garden
Every September, The Oregon Garden hosts a Home School Day event for homeschool students and their families. Due to COVID-19, this year’s Home School Day is going to look a little different. Instead of a one-day event, we are encouraging homeschool families to come out to the Garden during the month of September for “Home School Month.”
Students and families who visit The Oregon Garden in September will receive a packet of educational activities that they can complete while in the Garden or at home. This allows students and families to visit on any day that works with their schedule that month and stay socially distanced from other people in the Garden.
Pre-registration not required. Have fun learning about the following educational topics:
Wetland habitat & aquatic insects
Fire safety & prevention
Forest habitats & wildlife
Agriculture
Clean water
Fun with trees
The world of insects
Plant adaptations
Farm life
Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)
Homeschool Day Admission:
Adults $12
Students (12-17) $9
Children (5-11) $6
Children 4 & under Free
Check-in at the Visitors Center to purchase admission and packets will be available on request or download it prior to your visit.
