A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer is a trained citizen who is appointed by a judge to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in court. Orientations are a great way to learn about the program, what it means to be a volunteer advocate, and ask any questions you may have. It is also the first step in becoming a Marion County CASA. There are many children in our community in need of an adult ally and an advocate. You can be a powerful voice in a child's life!
