Canyon Collaborative, Marketing Workshop
You’re invited! Your local Canyon Collaborative is hosting a Workshop on PR and Marketing on Wed, June 8 at 9:30am at the Stayton Public Library. There is no registration requirement and no cost to attend. Two speakers from both for-profit and non-profit perspectives will be sharing their expertise. Let us introduce the workshop leader for the non-profit sector: PHIL MCCORKLE Phil serves as president of Center for Community Innovation in Salem. Of interest, he: · Has 28 years of experience working in area non-profit organizations, including Northwest Human Services, Regis High School, and Marion-Polk Food Share. In all, 23 of those years have been in fundraising and management roles. · Graduated Western Oregon University, with a B.S. in Psychology and a writing minor, after attending Central High School in Independence. · Grew up in Monmouth, where he learned to appreciate the outdoors and now enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, golf and photography. · Lives in Salem with his wife, Kathi, and their West Highland white terrier, Mick. Let us introduce the workshop speaker for the for-profit sector: NICOLE MILLER Nicole is the owner of Words out PR in Stayton.
