Brown House Quilt Show

Brown House Event Center will present a quilt show on Friday, August 17 and Saturday August 18 between 10am and 4pm each day. Several quilters and quilter’s groups will lend us quilts of all sizes, types, and ages to put on display for the public. This event was last held in 2016, and was a big hit with those in attendance. Each quilt will feature information about the maker and its history if available. The quilt being raffled will be on display also.. A 51 x 60 quilt was made by the Sublimity Quilters and donated to us to raffle. Tickets will be on sale at the event or online for $2 each or 3 for $5. The drawing of the winner will be held in November. There will be no admission charge, but we are requesting donations to raise funds for our roof repair which is scheduled for August.
