Aumsville Corn Festival
Dust off your best outfit and get out your best dancing shoes. The city is planning Corn Festival this August! The theme is “All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Grow.” Beginning Friday, August 20th at 6pm in Mill Creek Park, the kickoff event is beer and wine garden, food, and featuring The Pendleton Highway Band. While we do not have a crystal ball that can tell us what the event restrictions will be in August, we are expecting to make this the best event ever! Dress up in your best evening gown or your best blue jeans; it is up to you.
On Saturday we are planning our traditional Corn Festival beginning with a parade. Our theme for 2021 pays homage to the entire year of 2020: “All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Grow.” We will start accepting parade applications on May 15th.
Then the event will continue to Porter Boone Park for corn, games, and lots of vendors. We will be accepting vendor applications this month. The applications are available in the supporting documents. Vendors will be required to follow the state guidelines.
Start planning your booth or parade entry now. We will announce prizes and more details in future editions of the newsletter and on our website.
