2021 Detroit Lake Fishing Derby
We hope you'll join us for the 2021 Detroit Lake Fishing Derby!
How it will work this year:
- Register for the Fishing Derby.
- Check in at Detroit City Park.
- Free hat for first 400 registrants.
- Catch any of the 55 dropped tagged fish and win cash prizes.
- Prizes awarded will range between $5 - $1,000.
Derby Registrants bring caught tagged fish to the Detroit City Park.
Caught fish must be checked in by Sunday at 4 p.m. to be awarded the prize money.
The prizes this year will be CASH and awarded to the people who catch the tagged fish. There will not be a raffle for fish caught or awards for largest fish, etc.

Event brought to your by Detroit Lake Recreational Area Business Association. Funds raised will go towards other events and city beautification projects in Detroit.
