2020 CTE & Industry Summit
Not your typical conference…
This event brings students, educators, and industry professionals together to shape the future of career technical education and prepare the future workforce. Everyone brings a unique perspective to help us make CTE even more impactful!
---
Should you join us?
Are you unsure whether or not this will be a good fit for you?
Students and Educators with CTE program involvement are a definite “yes”–you will have so many opportunities to learn how to make the most of your experience and even improve the current programs.
If you’re an Industry Professional and/or Community Member wanting to build stronger organizations and communities, you should attend too–we need your perspective to make this a great event!
Bring your partners–students, educators, and industry professionals–to experience the Summit together and make your programs even stronger together!
---
You'll have the opportunity to attend all the sessions and network with students, educators, and other industry professionals. In the first session, there's an emphasis on specific industries (you select which one to attend when you register) and what employers are looking for in employees. The second session is focused on some leading-edge best practice topics. You'll have the opportunity to hear from our keynote speaker over lunch and network more around the lunch table. And in our third breakout session, you'll have the opportunity to interact with other attendees in a roundtable discussion around a particular topic (again, selected when you register). At the end, there's a session called "The Challenge" that's really geared toward industry professionals--it's a discussion about how best to get involved and influence the further development of CTE programs aligned well with industry needs in the communities you're involved in.
