MS Assistant Track Coach
Stayton Middle School
THIS POSITION IS SUBJECT TO NEED ACCORDING TO THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS.
Pay (row CC) ranges from $1,807 - 2,710, depending upon prior paid coaching experience in this sport at this age group or higher.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Assist with the direction and oversight of the development of a successful Program
- Assist with the organization of practices and instruction of athletes in the fundamentals of sport.
- Assist in the development of leadership skills, positive self-image, and pride in athletes
- Assist with the implementation of athletic philosophy concerning attitude, discipline, rules, and academic standards
- Foster good working relationships with parents, teaching staff, other coaches, and the community
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be able to assist in facilitating matches in the main gym and auxiliary gym and work Saturdays.- Hold Concussion and Steroid Training Certification; First Aid/CPR & Epi-Pen/Medical Training
- Experience or expertise in other coaching areas
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Maintain a high level of ethical behavior
