7th and 8th grade Assistant Wrestling coach

THIS POSITION IS SUBJECT TO NEED ACCORDING TO THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS.

Pay (row CC) ranges from $1,807 - 2,710 for the season, depending upon prior paid coaching experience in this sport, at this grade level or above.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the direction and oversight of the development of a successful Program
• Assist with the organization of practices and instruction of athletes in the fundamentals of sport.
• Assist in the development of leadership skills, positive self-image, and pride in athletes
• Assist with the implementation of athletic philosophy concerning attitude, discipline, rules, and academic standards
• Foster good working relationships with parents, teaching staff, other coaches, and the community

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be able to assist in facilitating matches in the main gym and auxiliary gym and work Saturdays. 

• Hold Concussion and Steroid Training Certification; First Aid/CPR & Epi-Pen/Medical Training
• Experience or expertise in other coaching areas
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Maintain a high level of ethical behavior
