The purpose of this position is to produce drawings, sketches, and other technical output that complies with customer requests/requirements, specifications, company policy and standards, and applicable codes and standards.

•Extended hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
•Work is performed in a typical office environment with constant use of a computer display terminal.
•Sitting for extended periods of time.
•Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects.
•Good eyesight and depth perception; hearing and speaking to exchange information; seeing to perform assigned duties; kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, to retrieve and store files and supplies; lifting light objects.

•Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture drafting software. Revit and/or 3D drafting software knowledge is a plus.
•Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF generating and manipulating software, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and other common office software.
•Knowledge and familiarity with the International Codes, emphasizing the Building Code, Fire & Life Safety, and Accessibility Codes, a plus.
•Technical Writing Ability
•Ability to read and understand construction documents, including plans, specifications, and submittals.
