Are you ready for an opportunity to gather in community, move your body, and raise money for great cause?
Join us for Yoga on the Farm!
We’ll be gathering as a community to practice a ~60 minute gentle yoga class outside at Friendly Arm Farm!
This class will specifically benefit the Black Food Sovereignty Coalition, which is a program that works to fight food insecurity in the Pacific Northwest. 50% of all proceeds from yoga class will be donated to BFSC (blackfoodnw.org).
Social distancing will be in place, keeping yoga mats at least 6 feet away from each other. I’ll be wearing a mask at check-in and getting all participants’ contact information (as required per Covid-19 restrictions). Otherwise, masks are optional.
This local, organic family-owned farm has breathtaking views of the Cascades, including Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson. We’ll be surrounded by flourishing produce and a maybe few furry critters! 🍅🥕🥦🐑🐕
Friendly Arm Farm offers Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) signups, which is a weekly share of fresh organic fruits and veggies. They also sell produce online at www.friendlyarmfarm.com, which can be available for pickup after our yoga class!
DETAILS:
-Class is at 10 am.
-Cost is a $10.
-Pre-registration is encouraged and payment can be made on the Friendly Arm Farm website (friendlyarmfarm.com) or upon arrival to class (cash, card, Venmo, PayPal).
-We’ll be practicing yoga outdoors on grass, so bring sunscreen, sunglasses, water, towel, jacket, etc.
-Bring a yoga mat - there will be a few available for those who don’t have one.
-There will be a portable restroom on site. 👍🏼
***Friendly Arm Farm is not yet open to the public outside of yoga class. Tours of the farm will not be available.***
