New CASA Spring Training Orientation
Name:
New CASA Spring Training Orientation
Date:
February 26, 2021
Time:
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM PST
Event Description:
Every Child has a Chance…. IT’S YOU!
Volunteer and "Change a Child's Story" today!
Court-appointed special advocate (CASA) volunteers make a life-changing difference for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.
Each volunteer is appointed by a judge to advocate for a child’s best interest in court. Our volunteers help judges develop a fuller picture of each child’s life. Their advocacy enables judges to make the most well-informed decision for each child.
Our orientation is a forum to sign up as well as to ask questions so you can make an informed decision about being a CASA. Even if you're not sure if this is what you would like to do, but are interested in learning more about CASA, please come. The more people that are educated about CASA of Polk County Inc. and our program the better
