Event Description:
Please join us at the annual Bridges, Bikes & Brews Festival in Scio, Oregon on Saturday, September 10, 2022. There will be a covered-bridge biking event, guided van tours, live music, food trucks, local breweries, and more. Bridges, Bikes and Brews is sponsored by the Scio Event Center Organization to raise funds for a new Fairgrounds and Event Center to be built in or near Scio, Oregon.

The bike event check-in will be from 9 A.M. ending at 4 P.M. and riders can begin once they've checked in. Fairground activities also begin at 9 a.m. and will go until 4 p.m. The self-guided bike tours are designed for riders of all ages and ability levels. The bicycling event will offer:
· 22 miles of scenic country landscape
· An elevation climb of 200 feet
· Visits of three of Scio's historic covered bridges
· First aid, water stations, and support along the routes
· A free gift to the first 100 participants

Van tours, hosted by Best Oregon Tours will depart and end across the street from the fairgrounds. Riding in comfortable air conditioned 14-person vans, participants will visit four historic bridges. Learn about the covered bridges, local history, and enjoy the pastoral landscape along Thomas Creek. These tours are free and approximately one and a half hours in length. Space is limited. Best Oregon Tours motto is "We don't follow the straight and narrow. We believe that every trail holds an adventure, and that adventures are best when shared with good company."

The Linn County Lamb and Wool Fairgrounds will be open from  9 A.M. to 4 P.M. with food carts, and other vendors. The beer garden, opens at 11:00 and features beverages from the Growler Café in Lebanon. There will be entertainment at the Carol Bates Stage featuring a live DJ in the morning and “The Rock and Roll Cowboys” in the afternoon.  This year we are adding a corn hole tournament for young and old alike. We will also be holding a motorcycle poker run from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M.  Register, visit all five area covered bridges and become eligible to win the prize money!
