Public may submit events for inclusion on our event calendar. Events must be held in the region served by the Stayton Sublimity Chamber OR events affliated with their local members. Event Description:
This is the 4th annual Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack here in the Santiam Canyon, happening on Saturday, October 31st, in the Stayton Union High School Field House, Stayton, Oregon. One day only.
We will be packing shelf stable and nutritious meals that will be shipped to the poorest and hungriest around the world.
We are looking for local volunteers to man shifts that involve 2 fun-filled hours of packing these meals with others in our community. Make your own packing team with family, or friends from work, or your neighbors, or your church family!
We are also seeking cash donations to offset the cost of the ingredients in each meal pack. Our goal is to raise $26,127 to pack 108,000 meals.
