Following the 1999 season the rodeo was purchased by the community and re-organized as a nonprofit corporation. The reorganization produced the Stayton/Sublimity Rodeo Association\, Inc. as the new owner of the Santiam Canyon Stampede. The end of the 2010 season saw another change for the Stampede.
