DESCRIPTION:The event will start at 8:30 am and include a side by side live fire burn showing the importance of residential fire sprinklers and the impact that they can have. The event will also demonstrate to the Santiam Firefighter Recruit Academy and community members the life safety features of residential fire sprinklers\, how they work and the importance of these fire prevention strategies. The community and media are encouraged to attend. Thank you to NFPA and the HFSC for their commitment to helping provide this training to South Marion County.
