SUMMARY:Downtown Trick-or-Treating & Costume Contest
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Halloween in Downtown Albany with family-friendly Trick-or-Treating and a Costume Contest on Saturday\, Oct. 29th.\n\nTrick-or-Treating is 11am to 1pm. Just look for the orange and black balloons marking the participating merchants. Dental care treat bags from Pediatric Dental Associates will be available at the Albany Downtown Association office\, 126 Ferry Street SW.\n\nThe Albany Downtown Association will continue with our popular costume contest on Facebook. Just have ADA take a photo of your little princess or goblin at one of the Xtreme Graphix photo stations then photos will be posted on Facebook for a public vote.\n\nThere will be two photo stations. The 1st Avenue Parklet near Ferry\, and at Two Rivers Market.\n\nWinners will be selected on Facebook. The contestant's photo with the most likes and shares in each category wins. Deadline to vote is Monday\, October 31st at noon. Winners will be announced via Facebook and the ADA website on Halloween evening.\n\nContest age groups are 0-3 years\, 4-6 years\, 7-9 years\, and 10-12 years plus two new categories - 13-18 years and Groups. The winner in each age group will receive a Downtown Kid Meal\, an Albany Carousel token\, and a ticket to The Pix Theatre. The runner up will receive a movie ticket.
