Your Role With Us:

As a Provider Recruitment and Contract Specialist, you will serve as an integral resource to Human Resources, and the Salem Health Medical Group (SHMG) leadership team and employed providers. As a member of the Human Resources Talent Acquisition team, you will support provider recruitment as applicable, while facilitating all SHMG employed provider contract functions, including creation, amendment, and administration of contract terms and conditions for more than 260 employed providers.
Core Functions:
  • Manage the LOI, New Hire Contract, and Addendum process for employed providers of SHMG; often called upon to recommend draft language changes to accurately reflect business need.
  • Manage payout of incentives over the life of the contract based on contract terms and agreements.
  • Ensure Community Recruitment hires receive payout of all incentives and monthly pay per Income Guarantee terms and conditions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert regarding provider immigration.
  • Liaison between Provider Recruitment and Provider Compensation Analyst.
  • Work closely with external immigration attorney to administer provider immigration compliance and procedures for applicable SHMG providers.
  • Processing bi-monthly provider payroll.
  • Provide Recruitment support, making travel and accommodation for in person provider interviews.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field or equivalent in education and/or work experience required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Human Resource Department in an HR Generalist or similar roles with experience in recruitment required.
  • Previous Physician Credentialing experience preferred.
