Your Role With Us:
As a key member of the supply team you will apply your knowledge of ordering practices to maintain the necessary supply of critical materials used in surgical procedures.

Core Functions:
  • Performs all supply, and inventory acquisition, distribution and maintenance for OR and Endoscopy.
  • Brings to the attention of both clinical and operational teams supply-related changes and additions to ensure accuracy and consistency between charge sheets, charge master and departments. Participates in troubleshooting by the supply team for both clinical and operational teams’ questions related to charges, charge master, product trials, specialty products, product changes, charge sheets, fiscal inventory & management, and policy & procedures involving Purchasing and Finance as appropriate.
  • Responsible for supporting maintenance of inventory master (Inventory Count Sheets) for entire Surgical Services Department. Works with operational systems team to support process with Purchasing for maintenance of correct charge/number codes, unit of measure maintenance, NF item updates, and product substitutions.
  • Participates in the yearly fiscal inventory for all of Surgical Services.
  • Oversees routine spending patterns to identify unusual or inappropriate entries. Works with management teams to monitor for unexpected trends or patterns and offer recommendations for determining operational budget needs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year of any supply processing experience preferred.
  • One (1) year of hospital supply processing experience preferred.
  • Surgical Services experience preferred.
