As an internal customer service department, we strive to keep a “yes first” mentality. We will be moving from our current system for materials management to a new state of the art system later this year and will need someone to help lead that effort!

Pick stock and deliver to supply rooms throughout the hospitalDeliver incoming packages and equipment to their appropriate locationUnpack and put away bulk freight ordersMaintain central inventory in a clean and organized mannerAccurately receive purchase orders both digitally and manuallyConsistently communicate with all hospital departments to ensure supply needs are metLearn inventory management basics, make recommendations and insights on stock levels and supply chain proceduresBecome familiar with vast array of medical equipment and suppliesPotential future responsibilities given upon mastery of basic responsibilities: Place orders for hospital supplies in an efficient and thorough manner, making adjustments based on changes in hospital activity and market disruptionsReorganize inventory layout, as directed, to accommodate ever-changing hospital supply needsAssist with implementation of new materials management technologiesDevelop an extensive knowledge of the medical supply market

Previous experience with inventory distribution preferred, but not requiredMust be able to communicate effectively and have quality interpersonal skillsMust be able to operate independentlyMust be able to lift, push, and slide packages that may weigh up to 50 lbsIdeal candidate for the job is someone who takes initiative and actively seeks to improve their work environment and the hospital as a whole, as well as build upon their own personal job skillsMust be able to work well with a team and have the ability to function in a fast-paced environmentIdeal candidate is someone who wants to pursue a long-term career in Supply Chain and Logistics managementHigh School DiplomaValid Oregon Driver’s License (insurable)
