Open Until Filled The City of Stayton is an Equal Opportunity Employer City of Stayton Job Announcement Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator The City of Stayton is seeking qualified applicants to fill a Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator position. This full time, non-exempt position will work towards learning the operation and maintenance activities required for the operation of the City of Stayton’s Wastewater Treatment Facility, wastewater collection system, associated lift stations, and stormwater collection system. To maintain these systems for compliance with the State and Federal regulations, while meeting the specific effluent standards established by the facility’s NPDES permit. The successful candidate will be placed in either an Operator 1 or 2 position depending on qualifications and certifications required for the position. Salary range for each position as of July 1, 2023:
• Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator 1: $4,044 to $5,277 per month •
Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator 2: $4,247 to $5,541 per month
Salary is determined based on an individual candidate’s qualifications and experience.
