We are currently looking for a Facility Services Technician to help us provide an elite level of customer service to those in time of need.

The ideal candidate is someone that has high integrity and high-energy self-starter. Excited about building new relationships and value to existing relationships. Position Summary / Purpose
The Facility Services Technicians assist in retaining Summit commercial customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of our facility maintenance offerings. The facility services technicians are responsible for maintaining their customer relationships and creating cheerleaders through consistent communication. They have designated routes with the opportunity to accept new work to add to monthly income. Each technician is given a company vehicle to be deployed remotely from their home, and a company phone. All technicians attend IICRC carpet classes and certified after the successful completion of their 30 day training period.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Carpet, tile and upholstery restoration using encapsulation and steam extraction methodology
Perform basic equipment maintenance
Inspect completed work
Opportunities to upsell to increase service invoices
Maintain appropriate chemical inventory and truck cleanliness
Maintaining client relationships through effective communication and elite work performance
Attend monthly operations meetings

Decision Rights and Authority

Determine the sequence of steps to be taken when delivering the company’s services at the customer’s property
Sell additional related services to customers as appropriate

Working Relationships and Scope

Maintain timely and effective communication and flow of information with Lead Technicians, Supervisors or Managers

Technical – Is appropriately trained and/or certified and effectively performs all production work within the facility services division.
Quality – The individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors his / her own work to ensure quality.
Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience​

High school (or GED) diploma.

​Mathematical skills
Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.

Computer skills
Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Preferred: Certified Carpet Technicians, not required.
