OUR BENEFITS

Family Building Blocks strives to provide a comprehensive benefits package to our staff who work full-time and part-time (20 or more hours per week).
 

BENEFITS:

• Paid Time Off: 16 accrued hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per month, capped at 240 hours.

• Volunteer Time Off: 8 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off (VTO) per year.

• Inclement Weather Time Off: 24 hours of Inclement Weather Time Off per year for weather-related closures.

• Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King’s Birthday, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day following Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (when it falls on a workday), and Christmas Day.

• Medical & Vision Insurance: Three Kaiser Permanente Plans that include Alternative Healthcare Benefits. Base plan offered at no cost for employees.

• Dental Insurance: We offer two plans at no cost to employees.

• Life Insurance: Basic Group Term Life Insurance paid by employer, $20,000 coverage for employees.

• Employee Assistance Program.

• Retirement: Available after first year of employment.

• Voluntary Supplemental Benefits: Voluntary short-term and long-term disability and $5 toward LTD insurance premiums. (Voluntary Employee & Family Life/A&D Insurance and LegalShield.)

• Discounted rates for cell phone plan: Verizon and T-Mobile.
